ABOUT US

M55 Art began in 1969 as 55 Mercer Gallery in Soho. In 2008 we relocated to Long Island City. In December of 2012 we moved to our current location in the heart of the Chelsea Fine Art District.
It is an artist-initiated not-for-profit gallery dedicated to bringing contemporary art exhibitions to the public.

M55 Art provides member artists an independent venue for exhibiting their work. The gallery also reaches out to the community by providing exhibition opportunities to guest artists and curators.

M55 Art reviews submissions from artists and curators on an ongoing basis. Guest Artist guidelines are available at our Contact page on this website.
